The Institute for American Musical Theatre is pioneering a new approach to performing arts
career preparation. Based in New York City and with a faculty comprised entirely of Broadway
and commercial professionals, we specialize in musical theatre and provide both intensive training
with current professionals and unique insider access to the industry.
We believe in a positive approach to teaching by celebrating what is unique in each student while
developing the skills of their individual artistry. What that means is that our students
get the best training in the world while developing their network and cultivating their own joy.
